Super good houjicha latte and mocha! Definitely come back again whenever I’m in Singapore
Delicious pasta with friendly service - recommend the Fresh Basil Pesto Penne w/ Cajun Chicken and the Grilled Fish Pomodoro Pasta
We had basil pesto penne and grilled fish pasta. Food is amazing and I love that the pasta is perfectly cooked. Longan tea was light and fragrant too. We were lucky to dine in at an off peak period and could find seats. Will be back again!
Was very hopeful of the food, but was left sorely disappointed. Ordered the Joo Chiat special laksa pasta, but it was way too oily and too much assam mixed within. To sum it up, it’s like eating spicy water meaninglessly.
What made it worse was the poor service attitude of crew:
1. Ordered and paid for the Momo tea via online ordering, but was informed that it was out of stock. I was asked to change my order, to which I picked the blissful berries tea. However, there was a differential amount between the two teas, and was just simply told that there will be no refund issued.
2. Asked if we can self service the water in the fridge, but was told that it will be served later to us. The water only came when we are about to leave, and was told that the crew had forgotten about it.
Overall, the cafe was not busy with little customers at the time of visit, hence I expected the standards to be better maintained.
Ordered from Staple Food for my corporate lunch for team members. Many of them commented that the Cajun Chicken Aglio e Olio and Grilled Fish Pomodoro Pasta was super nice!
Frankly was kinda disappointed with my last dining experience, ordered iced black, iced white, Thai spaghetti and prawn paste fried chicken sando. The coffee tasted diluted, pasta was an oversell with “tiger prawns” (look at the size), and the sando was way too expensive given the portions. You can find better options along that stretch.

Nice quiet place with good food and nice staff! The Earl Grey Lavender Gelato and waffles were really good :)
